Judge Certification & Calibration

Judges are required for all UK Coffee Events, and we are expecting a large number of competitors again this season.

This year's Judges Calibration & Certification is a mixture of online learning and in-person practicals. 

Online Presentation & Rules Calibration
- You must attend one of these online sessions

Where: Online

When:

Wednesday, January 3rd 2024 - 17:00 to 19:00

or

Monday, January 8th 2024 - 14:00 to 16:00

 

In Person Practical Sensory Calibration & Assessment
- You must attend this practical session to be able to judge

Where: Extract London - Extract Coffee Roasters, 5 Morocco St, Bermondsey, London, SE1 3HB

 When: Saturday 13th January 08:30 to 17:00

Anyone interested in learning about judging or wanting to certify is encouraged to email judges@scauk.coffee 

Any competitor certifying will not be able to judge the competition(s) in which they enter during that season. All judges are also required to be a valid SCA member.
