Showcasing the synergy between cocktails and coffee, competitors will be required to produce their own take on the classic Irish coffee and two Signature beverages.
Do you have the flair and creativity to become the SCA UK Coffee in Good Spirits Champion and compete at the 2023 World Championships at the Taiwan International Coffee Show in Taipei, November 17th - 20th, 2023?
This championship takes place at Caffè Culture 2022, Islington, London on the 1st (Semi-finals) and 2nd (Finals) of September 2022.

The UK 2023 Coffee in Good Spirits follows the World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship 2022 Rules - Please click here to visit their website, where you can download up-to-date rules, scoresheets and information.
The 2023 Championship will consist of:
Semi-Finals Round (2.3.1. Preliminary Round), 1st September - 12 competitors.
40 Minutes Practice - 10 Minutes Set Up - 10 Minutes Performance
2 identical coffee-and-alcohol-based hot/warm designer drinks.
2 identical coffee-and-alcohol-based cold designer drinks.
Competitors must use the alcohol supplied by the SCA UK sponsor for the current year in both the hot/warm and cold designer drinks - Discarded Spirits Co. - Grape Skin Vodka.
Finals Round (2.3.2. Finals Round*) - 2nd September - 6 competitors.
2 identical coffee-and-alcohol-based designer drinks (hot or cold).
2 identical Irish Coffees.
Competitors must use the alcohol supplied by the SCA UK sponsor for the current year in their designer drink ONLY - Discarded Spirits Co. - Grape Skin Vodka.
*As there is no separate SCA UK whisky sponsor, there is no requirement to have the Grape Skin Vodka in the Irish Coffee.

By entering this championship, all participants are required to read, understand and agree to the “Code of Conduct for National Chapter Event Participants”. This Code of Conduct applies to all SCA national chapter event participants. All participants of the national chapter event are expected to act in the best interests of the specialty coffee community.
